Block-Party-Flier-fall-2014In addition to collecting school supplies for area schools I will also be completing the ALS ice bucket challenge. If you would like to see me get the ice water in person please bring a bag of school supplies and a couple of bucks to donate money for ALS.

The reason I am doing all of this is because back in the summer of 2000 my Aunt Virginia Carr Johnson of Orangeburg, SC lost her battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease. (Lou Gehrig’s disease and ALS are the same thing). I cannot bring her back, but if I can do a little to help fund research to cure such an awful debilitating disease I will.

I hope to see some of y’all there.

Y’all have fun,
   Richard
